Linear Park Benches

The Juniata River Blueprint Community was able to purchase four benches to place along Linear Park in Mount Union.

The funding used to purchase these benches was obtained through the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and authorized by USDA Rural Development through the Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge (RPIC) program. JRBC is grateful and thankful for the Pennsylvania Downtown Center, USDA Rural Development, and the RPIC program for providing us the opportunity to purchase these benches for the community!

JRBC would like to acknowledge and thank Larry Salone, the East Broad Top Railroad Preservation Association, and Cheryl Marino for their assistance and support of the project.

We would also like to thank Mount Union Borough for assembling and installing the benches along the park. We feel that the benches are a great addition to the walking path in Linear Park!
