The 2023 Mount Union Fall Pepper Fest was held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Rogers-Newman Park. The festival included several vendors, kids` activities and events, a chili competition, hot pepper eating contest, and more! The Master Gardeners of the Penn State Cooperative Extension hosted a class on extending the gardening season at the event. Beau Lane took home BOTH trophies in the chili competition having been voted the best in the spiciest and overall catagories. Charles Brennan was the 2023 hot pepper eating champion!
